Here in my personal world, it is day 2 of my whole food detox – Core Values Detox Plus. There’s not a lot to report right now. I am actually down 1 pound. Could it be the detox? Too early to tell.
Lunch today, pictured above, was especially yummy. It was an Italian Chickpea Salad. I put it on a bed of spinach and surrounded it with tomato slices from the farmers market. And yes, that recipe is one that is included in the recipe packet of Core Values Detox Plus.
Dinner tonight is another recipe from the recipe packet – Lentil Millet Burgers. I made these before and they were good, but I think I’m going to spice them up a bit tonight. I think I’ll serve them with more tomato slices and some avocado slices. What do you think? Sound good?
