On Saturday, August 11th, I had a surprise opportunity to be on Girl Talk Texas, a local radio show on KSLR. My good friend, Jackie Robb, is the host of Girl Talk Texas. You can hear her show every Saturday at 10:00 AM on KSLR radio (630 AM) in San Antonio.

We talked about food allergies and farmers markets and more. If you like, you can listen to the podcast of Mariposa Naturals on Girl Talk Texas.

I have to confess that I was a little bit (a lot?) nervous. And you can hear it, especially when my brain suddenly goes totally blank and I can’t get words out. At some point, my hubby even sent me a text telling me to “Relax and Smile.” It helped. But, hey, it was my first time on the radio! I had a lot of fun and will be on again in the future.
